These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by IJB Media and Technologies Limited ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") through our flagship platform, 18Fanz (the "Service"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Your Account

Access to certain features requires the creation of an account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Content

(a) User Content: You may upload, post, or submit content to the Service ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your intellectual property rights in your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant 18Fanz a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly perform, and display your User Content in connection with the operation of the Service.

(b) Prohibited Content: You are prohibited from uploading User Content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, defamatory, or violates the rights of others. 18Fanz reserves the absolute right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate at our sole discretion.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original contents (excluding User Content), including text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of IJB Media and Technologies Limited or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use of these materials is strictly prohibited.

5. Payment

Certain features of the Service are provided for a fee. By using these features, you agree to pay all applicable charges. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in our Refund Policy.

6. Refund Policy

We prioritize a transparent and fair financial environment. Please review our refund protocols:

  • (a) Non-Refundable Purchases: All transactions on 18Fanz—including subscriptions, digital content, and tips—are final and non-refundable. Change of mind or dissatisfaction with content does not qualify for a refund.
  • (b) Discretionary Refunds: Refunds may be issued at our sole discretion in cases of verified technical errors or duplicate billing. Requests must be submitted to Support within 7 days of the transaction.
  • (c) Wallet Credits: Approved refunds are issued exclusively as 18Fanz Wallet Credits. No cash or original payment method refunds will be processed.
  • (d) Unauthorized Transactions: If you suspect unauthorized activity, contact 18Fanz Support immediately for investigation.
  • (e) Chargebacks: Initiating a chargeback with your bank without first attempting to resolve the issue with 18Fanz Support may result in immediate account termination.
  • (f) Fraud Prevention: We monitor all transactions for suspicious patterns. We reserve the right to block accounts, withhold payouts, or take legal action in cases of suspected fraud.

7. Payout Schedule & Reserves

To protect creators and the platform from financial risk, the following applies:

  • Hold Period: 18Fanz may place a temporary hold (3–14 days) on transactions flagged as high-risk.
  • Rolling Reserve: We may maintain a rolling reserve of up to 25% of creator earnings for up to 60 days to cover potential chargebacks or disputes.
  • Thresholds: If chargebacks exceed safe industry thresholds, we reserve the right to delay payouts, require further identity verification, or suspend the creator account.
  • Deductions: Disputed amounts and associated bank fees will be deducted from the creator's balance or reserve.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause and without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. IJB MEDIA AND TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

10. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL IJB MEDIA AND TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Nigeria.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. Continued use of the Service following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
